Peasant

Peasants are the breadwinners of the Land of Clones. Beginning with this status, clones gain access to food production and occupy a higher position than artisans. This translates into access to more lucrative positions, as well as the right to establish their own settlements and hire other clones. Upon attaining this status, it is recommended to change clothing, as peasant clothing has different properties than artisan clothing.

Conditions for obtaining status#

To obtain the status of “peasant”, you need to study 4 sciences in a public school for a total cost of 20 gold coins.

Status options#

Peasants can work in all businesses available to artisans, often occupying higher-ranking and better-paid positions. They also gain access to a number of businesses that artisans are not allowed to work in. The main areas of opportunity are agriculture and management.

Job#

A farmer searches for work in the “Work” section and can:

  • Maintain current jobs while advancing in position and income.
  • Get a job at new companies to accelerate the development of characteristics.

  • Working as a mower at a private flour mill.
  • When hunting, it is possible to encounter a fox.
  • In a princely squad or bandit army, a clone can control artillery, receiving increased bonuses.

Agriculture#

Plots of land for growing crops are available near each home. You can produce feed, food products, and flax for clothing. Effective farming reduces production costs and increases profits.

Your own settlement#

The peasant receives the right to establish his own settlement and manage production.

Settlement options:

  • Extraction of stone and iron.
  • Production of wood and cereals.
  • Processing of resources into flour, animal feed and building materials.
  • Opening [gold mines] with daily gold production.

A settlement develops from an estate to a village, then to a city and metropolis. The owner determines the direction of production, can hire both their own clones and those of other players, pay subsidies, and shape their own development conditions. Additional subsidies are provided by the state, as well as by princes and owners of higher-level territories.

Repair#

Clones require maintenance over time.

Repair conditions:

  • Required after 15 years of service.
  • The cost is 30 gold.
  • Without repairs, stamina consumption increases by 30 per day.
  • The alternative is to rise to the status of bourgeois.
  • If a clone account has the “Emperor” status, other clones do not require repairs.

The path to the bourgeoisie#

The Peasant is a wealthy clone with his own farm and managerial capabilities. The next step in development is attaining “bourgeois” status, which opens up expanded opportunities in agriculture and urban development, and allows the establishment of one’s own principality.
