Hiring builders#

The construction of large-scale facilities in a clone world requires coordinated work and proper process organization. To ensure stable construction, the owner of a settlement or principality must ensure sufficient labor, materials, and proper working conditions. Below are the basic rules governing the construction of long-term facilities.
Construction of buildings#
- To build architectural wonders, great and megalithic structures, it is necessary to hire builders.
- Clones of any social status, except vagrants, can work at construction sites.
- The owner of a settlement or principality can hire any number of workers.
- The mayor or prince himself cannot get a job as a builder.
- The simultaneous construction of several objects is permitted in the settlement.
Hiring builders#
- Hiring is automatic: a clone who submits an application is immediately accepted.
- The owner of the construction site sets a fixed wage.
- At construction sites with no education requirements, the maximum salary is 0.01 gold coins.
- At construction sites requiring the education of Megalithic Structures Engineer or Mechanical Engineer, the maximum salary is 0.1 gold coins.
- When setting the salary, the amount for the next day of work is reserved from the owner’s account.
Materials for construction#
- The site must always have a full set of necessary materials.
- The absence of any kind of material stops construction.
- When construction stops, workers continue to be paid their wages.
- Payments will only stop if the construction site owner reduces the wage fund to 0.
- The required amount of material is equal to the number of builders multiplied by the daily consumption of one worker.
- You can enable automatic supply of materials from storage and automatic purchase on the commodity exchange.
Material consumption#
- The standard consumption by one builder is 1 unit of material per day.
- Consumption of oil and petroleum products is 10 units per day.
- If individual consumption rates are specified for an object, they are applied.
