Genetic Engineering Research Center#

Genetic Engineering Center

The research center is designed to conduct research in the field of genetic engineering and work with dragon amber. This allows for genetic manipulation and the reproduction of new dragons.

Construction#

The Research Center can be built in principalities where the University has reached level 4. To begin construction, you must have 30% of each resource; the remaining materials can be added as work progresses. The prince independently manages supplies and hires the required number of workers, who consume resources daily.

Repair#

The Genetic Engineering Center does not require regular repairs, but can be damaged by adult dragons. Once damaged, the center’s operations are suspended until repairs are completed. Manual repairs are not necessary, as an automatic repair feature is available, eliminating the need for automatic resource purchases.

Reproduction of a dragon specimen#

The research center can reproduce a baby dragon through genetic engineering. The process takes a fixed amount of time and requires subsequent monitoring by the owner, as violations of the conditions can result in the dragon escaping and damage to the center.

  • The reproduction time of a cub is 72 hours.
  • The sex of the newborn is determined randomly with equal probability.
  • The male weighs 25 kg, the female – 20 kg.
  • If you have an aqueduct, you can change the gender of a dragon less than 3 days old, born on your account.
  • The cost of changing gender is 50 gold coins.
  • The cub can stay in the center for no more than 30 days.
  • After the time period has expired, the dragon must be moved to the castle cave or the amber cave.
  • If there are free caves, the center’s employees will relocate the dragon automatically.

If relocation is impossible, the dragon becomes agitated, damages the center, and most often flies away. After escaping, the center requires repairs, without which further research is suspended. A five-day hunger strike increases the chance of escape, which lasts up to and including the tenth day. A departed dragon may attempt to settle in other caves in the land of clones or disappear forever.

Important: The game uses two different feeding stations: one for dragons living in caves and one for dragons in the research center. It’s important to consider the location when providing food.
