Enterprises of a principality#

Enterprises of a principality

A principality’s enterprises form the foundation of its economic, civil, and military development. Each prince can develop several enterprises, receiving corresponding bonuses and opportunities. All enterprises are divided into processing and military. When upgrading enterprises, the resource consumption rate per builder is 1 unit of material per day; for oil and petroleum products, 10 units; for tertiary resources, 1 package. The quantity of resources in packages is indicated on the tertiary production plant page.

When a principality is created, all businesses are at level 1. Increasing levels increases efficiency and unlocks new opportunities. Development costs and bonuses are listed in the “Development Milestones” section.

Rules for enterprise development:

  • The level of any enterprise cannot exceed the level of the university of the principality.
  • Increasing the level is only possible if all enterprises have the same current level.
  • To develop to level 5, you need a level 5 university and a level 5 forge.

Thus, the university level is increased first, followed by the remaining businesses. The value of all constructed facilities is factored into the clone and account asset valuation with a coefficient of 1.4.

Resource Processing#

Princely enterprises process primary resources into secondary ones:

  • Iron and steel plant: iron → processed iron.
  • Stone and wood processing plants: stone and wood → processed materials.
  • Grain elevator: cereals → flour or feed.

The enterprise level influences the daily limit and consumption of primary resources: the higher the level, the less primary material is required to produce one unit of secondary production. The processing limit is set per primary resource, so it is impossible to process more than the set amount at one time.

Processing is performed on the “Secondary Products” page, where current volumes and rates are displayed. Princes can place orders to process secondary products into tertiary products at the appropriate factories. Tertiary resources are the primary building materials and are used in almost all gameplay.

Automatic secondary production function is available:

  • The system produces a specified amount of resource daily.
  • At limit 0, the maximum available volume is produced.
  • If there is a shortage of resources, the available amount from the reserves is processed.
