Building a house#

Clones with the “Craftsman” status and above can build properties in the clone world. Houses vary in capacity and comfort level and can be developed from level 1 to 32, with the base level ranging from 0 for a dugout to 50 for a castle.
Real estate is used for living, renting, and housing your clones. Houses offer stamina restoration, Intention development, farming, safekeeping of valuables, and the construction of chicken farms and dragon caves. House owners receive daily subsidies from the state, prince, and mayor, making real estate a stable source of income and a prestige asset in Golden Clone.
Property levels#
The level of the house determines the key parameters of its use and profitability:
- The maximum number of clones that can live in a house.
- Number of servants.
- Number of plots allocated for agriculture.
- Amount of daily subsidies.
- The amount of stamina restored.
- Stamina consumption for development of the “Intention” characteristic.
- Number of safes.
- Possibility to build a runway.
- Possibility to build a cave.

Choosing a site for construction#
The choice of principality and settlement influences the size of subsidies, the ease of property management, and development prospects. Building a house in your own principality or settlement promotes population growth and simplifies social policy. Developed empires provide stable but lower subsidies, while young principalities may offer higher payments.
Mayors also assign their own subsidies, so it’s important to study the conditions of specific settlements. For agriculture, it’s important to consider the presence of architectural wonders and megalithic structures, as well as the principality’s technological age. Additional information on payments can be found in the principality registry or by contacting princes and mayors.
The following construction options are available:
- In a specific settlement of the selected principality without the possibility of subsequent transfer.
- In the principality without a choice of settlement with the right to one transfer in the future.
- In the “Imperial Lands” without subsidies, but with the possibility of subsequent transfer.
- In your own settlement on Imperial lands with the transfer of the settlement along with the houses.
Construction process#
House construction occurs in stages and depends on its level. Each level requires 96 hours of construction, so high-level houses take significantly longer to build. To speed up the process, the owner can hire builders, reducing the overall waiting time. Construction uses primary or tertiary resources, depending on the house’s level.
Acceleration of construction#
Speed-up is achieved by hiring builders on the “Build a House” page. The owner sets the price of each task and the total construction budget. Each completed order reduces construction time by 1 hour. During the last hour of construction, no builders can be hired, and any unused funds are returned to the account.
Example. When building a level 1 house (96 hours) and hiring 95 builders at a cost of 0.0002 gold per task, construction can be completed in 1 hour instead of the standard 96.
Raising the house level, elixir “Hospitable Shelter”#
You don’t have to build your house to the maximum level right away. You can develop it gradually, increasing its level as needed and resources become available.
