Living in a house #
Living in a house is not a prerequisite for a clone existence. However, if there is a place of residence, additional opportunities open up for the clone. Below you can see the main ones.
Work at private enterprises in settlements #
If a clone wants to get a job at any of the private enterprises in the settlement, then he must live in a house located in the same settlement.
Work at these enterprises is available to clones with the status of craftsman and above. It cannot be combined with work at state enterprises, but working conditions and salary may be more favorable.
Daily recovery of the stamina characteristic #
While living in a house, the clone will be able to restore a certain amount of stamina daily, which is measured as a percentage of the “daily stamina consumption rate”.
The amount of stamina restored directly depends on the house level. Each level gives +1% of the daily value. Thus, a clone can daily restore from 1% of the daily value (when living in a level 1 house) to 50% of the daily value (when living in a castle).
If the house in which the clone lives is located in a principality where a Level VI hospital is built, then additional 5% of the daily stamina consumption will be restored. A hospital of the required level is guaranteed to be available in principalities that have transferred to the Megalithic Era (this information can be obtained from the registry of principalities).
Intention training #
Living in a house, your own or rented, also allows you to train the “Intent” characteristic in the refectory.
Work on the construction of long-term facilities #
Clone is a builder of long-term objects. If he has housing, he can reduce the stamina consumption on these construction sites.
The usual stamina consumption (without having a place of residence) at such construction sites is 1.5 units. endurance per day. If the clone lives in a house located in the same principality where the object under construction is located (or in the case of construction on the territory of a settlement, in a house located in the same settlement), then the stamina consumption is reduced to 1 unit per day.
There are two special cases of construction:
- When building a principality, a clone will always spend 1 unit of stamina per day, even without a place of residence.
- When repairing a protective wall, the clone will always spend 5 units of stamina per day. Moreover, he must live in a house on the territory of this principality. Clones who are not residents of the principality cannot get a job to repair the wall.
