Gold mines#

Gold mines

Gold Mines are a settlement enterprise that allows clones to mine gold. The clones work cyclically, generating a steady income and occasionally finding gold nuggets. Gold Mines are available to any settlement owner and are a direct source of income for the administrative unit.

Construction#

There is no cost to build a gold mine.

Repair#

Gold mines do not require periodic maintenance.

Work in the mines#

Only the owner’s clones residing within the settlement’s territory may work in the mines. A geologist’s degree is required to work in the mines.

A clone employed in the mines cannot perform other activities:

Gold mining requires 1 stamina per day in addition to other costs.

A hungry clone with negative stamina cannot work in the mines. Once stamina is restored, work will become available after checkout time.

Number of workplaces#

The number of jobs depends on the level of development of the settlement.

Rules for the operation of gold mines#

When joining a gold mine, a clone automatically acquires a gold mining tray for 6.01 gold coins. The tray lasts for one production cycle, which averages one in-game day.

Automatic tray purchasing is available, allowing clones to continue operating without manual supervision.

To operate normally, the settlement must be repaired. If repairs are not completed, prospectors work until the tray’s service life expires, but automatic renewal becomes unavailable.

If a clone loses settlement resident status, the workday is not counted. No income is accrued for the day, stamina is depleted, and the cost of the tray is refunded.

During operation, the clone may find a gold nugget. The mining process can be monitored online. Once the cycle is complete, the total amount of gold mined is displayed on the statement, with the nuggets listed separately.
