Secondary resource#

You can build processing plants in your own settlement, which convert primary resources into secondary ones. This is available starting at the Village development level. The use of secondary resources is described in the game section.
Construction#
Refineries allow you to process the following resources.
Table. Processing of primary resource into secondary one
| Enterprise | Primary resource | Secondary resource |
|---|---|---|
| Wood-processing workshop | Wood | Processed wood |
| Grain barn | Crops | Flour, compound feed |
| Stone processing workshop | Stone | Processed stone |
| Metallurgical workshop | Iron | Processed iron |
In settlements of the Village level and above, you can build up to 4 levels of each factory. The cost is the same for levels I–IV, but the higher the settlement level, the higher the cost.
Table: Cost of building a woodworking shop
| Resource | Village 1–4 | City 1–4 | Megapolis 1–4 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold | 5 | 10 | 20 |
| Processed wood | 375 | 750 | 1500 |
Table. Cost of building a stone processing plant
| Resource | Village 1–4 | City 1–4 | Megapolis 1–4 |

| Gold | 5 | 10 | 20 |
| Processed stone | 375 | 750 | 1500 |

| Flour | 375 | 750 | 1500 |
Table. Cost of building a metallurgical workshop
| Resource | Village 1–4 | City 1–4 | Megapolis 1–4 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold | 30 | 60 | 120 |
| Processed wood | 125 | 185 | 375 |

Processing limits#
Each factory has 4 levels at each settlement level, for a total of 12 levels. Development always begins at level 1 in the Village stage, regardless of the current settlement level.
As the factory level increases, the daily processing limit increases.
Table: Recycling limits in the village
| Products | I | II | III | IV |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Processed wood | 50 | 75 | 100 | 125 |
| Processed stone | 50 | 75 | 100 | 125 |
| Flour/Mixed fodder | 50/500 | 75/750 | 100/1,000 | 125/1,250 |
| Processed iron | 5 | 7 | 10 | 12 |
Table: Recycling limits in the city
| Products | I | II | III | IV |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Processed wood | 175 | 200 | 225 | 250 |
| Processed stone | 175 | 200 | 225 | 250 |
| Flour/Mixed fodder | 175/1,750 | 200/2,000 | 225/2,250 | 250/2,500 |
| Processed iron | 17 | 20 | 22 | 25 |
Table: Recycling limits in a metropolitan area
| Products | I | II | III | IV |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Processed wood | 300 | 350 | 400 | 450 |
| Processed stone | 300 | 350 | 400 | 450 |
| Flour/Mixed fodder | 300/3,000 | 350/3,500 | 400/4,000 | 450/4,500 |
| Processed iron | 30 | 35 | 40 | 45 |
The limit applies to primary resources. It is not possible to process grains into both flour and feed beyond the limit.
Processing rate#
The efficiency of processing depends on the settlement level.
Table. Wood/stone/iron and grain conversion coefficient (into flour)
| Settlement level | We give away | We receive |
|---|---|---|
| Village | 1.67 | 1 |
| City | 1.25 | 1 |
| Megacity | 1 | 1 |
Table. Processing of cereals into compound feed
| Settlement level | We give away | We receive |
|---|---|---|
| Village | 1.67 | 10 |
| City | 1.3 | 10 |
| Megacity | 1 | 10 |
Maximum profitability of processing is achieved at the “Megapolis” level.
The development of factories does not affect the increase in the settlement level and is not a mandatory condition for its growth.
Automatic production#
Automatic secondary production can be enabled. A specified amount of resource will be processed daily. If set to 0, the maximum available amount is used. If resources are insufficient, the maximum possible amount is processed.
