Secondary resource #
In your own settlement, you can build processing factories where primary resources can be processed into secondary ones. This opens up new opportunities for the production of various resources and goods in your settlement. Recycled resources are often used for further production activities or for sale on the market, which can generate additional profit.
The recycling process can vary depending on the type of processing plant and the resources used. The construction and development of such factories usually require certain technological levels and resources. Successfully managing Refineries can be an important part of your settlement’s development and economic success in the game.
Construction #
The ability to build factories for processing resources appears with the development level “Village” or higher.
Table. Processing a primary resource into a secondary one
Company | Primary resource | Secondary resource |
---|---|---|
Woodworking shop | Wood | Processed wood |
grain barn | Crops | Flour, Feed |
Stone processing workshop | Stone | Processed stone |
Metallurgical shop | Iron | Processed iron |
In settlements of the “Village” development level and higher, you can build 4 levels of different factories for processing resources. Levels 1 to 4 require the same amount of resources, but upgrades to a more developed settlement require more resources.

Processing limits #
Each factory has 4 levels of development at each level of development of the settlement, for a total of 12 levels. Development starts from the lowest factory level (I) at the “Village” level. This means that even if your settlement is of a higher level, you must start by building the very first level of the factory and gradually develop it to higher levels.
As the level of the factory increases, the maximum amount of resources that can be processed at a given factory per day also increases. This is an important aspect when planning industrial activities in your settlement. Higher factory levels allow you to produce more secondary resources, both for your own needs and for sale on the market.
Table. Village resource processing limits
Products | Factory level 1 | 2nd level | 3rd level | 4th level |
---|---|---|---|---|
Processed wood | 50 | 75 | 100 | 125 |
Processed stone | 50 | 75 | 100 | 125 |

Processed iron | 30 | 35 | 40 | 45 |
Attention! The processing limit is set for the primary type of product. This means that with a limit of 300 units, you cannot make 300 flour and another 3000 compound feed from cereals.
Processing rate #
Depending on the current level of development of the settlement, resource processing can occur with varying degrees of efficiency. To increase the efficiency of processing, it is necessary to build processing factories when the level of the settlement increases.

Factory owners at the Megapolis level (last 4 factory levels) have the highest profitability of resource processing.
The more advanced your processing factories, the higher the technological level of your settlement, allowing you to process resources more efficiently and economically.
The development of factories is not a prerequisite for increasing the level of the settlement. The level of settlement depends on the development of manufacturing enterprises, not factories. Your factories can develop separately from the level of your settlement.
Automatic production #
You can install automatic production of secondary products. When this function is enabled, the user-specified quantity of products will be produced daily. If the limit is set to 0, the maximum available volume of resource will be produced. If on any day you do not have enough resources to produce secondary products, the system will automatically produce the maximum amount from the available resources.
