Mentoring #
When the moment comes and you feel that you have become experienced enough for such work, you can become a mentor. Remember that a mentor is a guide to the world of clones for beginners. It is you who can raise a future prince or even an emperor!
Jordan Belfort’s book “The Wolf of Wall Street Method” is highly recommended for reading (not to be confused with the book “The Wolf of Wall Street”, although it is also interesting). Belfort will teach you how to become a great salesman, negotiator, deal maker, entrepreneur, and speaker. His sales system is so simple and effective that literally within a few days it can bring success to anyone who masters it. This game is a simulator in which you have the opportunity to learn and hone your skills in practice! May success be with you!
How to become a Mentor #
You can become a mentor in the “For Mentors” section (“Work” → “Embassy” → “For Mentors”).
Write a small welcome text on the settings page for your clone to appear in the list of mentors. It should be such a text that would make a student want to choose you. At the beginning of the next day, you will officially appear among the mentors: until this moment, students will not be able to choose you as a mentor. You can temporarily stop mentoring activities by checking the appropriate box.
Please note that once you have your first student, it will be impossible to change the clone representative of the mentor. One mentor can have an unlimited number of students. Even if you reject all students, it will be impossible to change the clone representative. But you will be able to choose a clone who will receive bonuses (characteristics) for mentoring.
The list of mentors for each of newcomers is formed as follows: every day at the beginning of the day, a current list of all mentors is built. In this list, clones are sorted in descending order of status, and if the status is the same, in descending order of account score. The potential student is then shown the first N rows of this list:
\(N = 5D\)The following variables are used in the above formula:
Variable | Explanation |
---|---|
\(N\) | number of lines with potential mentors shown |
\(D\) | student’s age in days |
The mentor was on the list yesterday. Today he dropped down and was not included in the list. But during the day it will still be on the list. Then he will disappear until it is his turn.
Thus, initially the list displays 5 mentors with the highest social status and account score (priority is given to status). If the student has not chosen a mentor by the end of the current day, the list is updated: the next 5 mentors by rating are added to it, and so on.
Still, the clone can choose a specific mentor for himself, even if his name is not yet included in the list shown to him.
If you are chosen as a mentor, you will receive a system notification via in-game mail. A notification will also be sent if the student refuses the mentor. If you yourself refuse a student, he will receive a notification.
If the score of your student’s account or the status of his clone becomes higher than yours, the mentor will be automatically rejected. You will receive a notification via in-game email 72 hours before the cancellation, giving you some time to rectify the situation.
One mentor can have an unlimited number of students.
Mentor bonuses for students’ social statuses #
Working as a mentor gives you the opportunity to receive good bonuses. When any clone on your student’s account increases social status, you will receive experience or intention points.
Table. Bonuses to the mentor for acquiring social status by student clones
Social status acquired by a student clone | Bonus for a mentor |
---|---|
Craftsman | 4 experience |
Peasant | 4 experience |
Bourgeois | 4 experience |
Merchant | 4 experience |
Baron | 400 intention |
Count | 400 intention |
Emperor | 1000 intention |
You can conveniently configure the assignment of characteristics to any clone of your account. In this case, it is not necessary to change the clone working as a mentor.
Attention! It is prohibited to become a mentor for another your account for the purpose of boosting and artificially receiving bonuses from mentoring.
Attention! The case when a mentor offers a participant to re-register using his affiliate link is a violation and can lead to account blocking. Remember that partner income is an incentive for residents who engage in partner activities, and not a means for paying kickbacks. We call for fair play and respect for the work of other project partners!
Mentors Tournament #
As students develop, they earn points for their mentors. The number of points is the sum of your students’ account scores received for the current year. At the end of the year, the winners of the mentor tournament are determined according to the number of points scored. If during the year a student changes you to another mentor, then the points accumulated are retained by you, and the points awarded after the change will be received by the new mentor.
The winners of the tournament are the 50 mentors who score the maximum number of points over the course of the year. The prizes are sets of game resources that can serve as an excellent help for you in developing your account.
You can see the overall rating of mentors, which displays the number of points they have scored. The list also includes mentors who have temporarily stopped recruiting new students (the points earned are retained).
