General Staff#

General Staff

Clones with the appropriate military rank are eligible to work in the General Staff. Each position requires a specific rank and a certain number of military knowledge units. Social status is irrelevant, except that vagrants are not accepted.

Conditions of employment#

To be recruited, a clone must have the required rank and military knowledge, which depends on the characteristics of existing employees. Ranks can be obtained through training and military preparation in the “Military Ranks” section (Character → “Military Ranks”). Learn more about military ranks. A clone can gain military knowledge through security work, robberies, tournament participation, the Great Warrior Complex, the training arena, jewelry, or magical artifacts.

The job requires a pen (for all positions). A clone can only hold one position in the General Staff. This job can be combined with other state enterprises, except for the Meat Factory. The job consumes six stamina points per day; if the clone lacks stamina, they receive a reprimand; three consecutive reprimands result in dismissal. This job is equivalent to military service and is incompatible with service in the principality’s military. Dismissal is possible at the clone’s own request or if a stronger candidate replaces the clone.

Promotion of military rank#

With continuous work in the General Staff, a clone can receive a free rank every 30 days depending on the position held:

  • Chief of the General Staff, Staff Major General, Staff Colonel - up to Lieutenant Colonel/Captain II Rank;
  • Staff Major – up to Captain/Captain III Rank.

Upon dismissal, the period of continuous service is reset to zero.

Wage#

The salary is paid daily in one installment—an additional bonus, the amount of which depends on the number of military knowledge points. If the knowledge is insufficient for the minimum payment (0.0001 gold coin), the bonus is not awarded. The clone also gains daily experience based on their rank.

The state transfers 10% of weapons sales profits and 10% of the arms exchange commission to the General Staff’s bonus fund. The fund is distributed as follows: 20% to staff majors, 20% to staff colonels, 30% to staff major generals, and 30% to the Chief of the General Staff, in proportion to military expertise.

Jobs and promotions#

The number of positions is fixed: staff major – 20, staff colonel – 5, staff major general – 2, Chief of the General Staff – 1. New vacancies do not open automatically. There is also no automatic promotion.

If the clone meets the requirements, they fill the vacant position or displace a less capable employee from the same position. During the day, positions may become available due to dismissal or displacement, and these positions are displayed for recruitment.

Thus, continuous development of military skills and knowledge is necessary for maintaining a position and career advancement.
