Military Department#

Military Department

A soldier who doesn’t dream of becoming a general is a poor soldier! Only those with the social status of peasant or higher can work in the Military Department. Each position requires at least 10 units of military knowledge. Corps commanders and the head of the Military Department also require a principality with a certain level of development.

A clone can gain military knowledge:

To work, a clone requires a working tool: a pen (for all positions). Military rank is not required to fill this position.

A clone can only hold one position in the Military Department. Work here can be combined with work at other state enterprises (except the Meat Factory).

While working for a government agency, a clone expends one unit of stamina per day. When working for multiple government agencies, this consumption is cumulative. If the clone’s stamina is insufficient, they receive a reprimand instead of their salary. Three reprimands in a row result in dismissal.

Clones choose one of five training corps: the Navigation School, the Artillery School, the Cavalry Corps, the Infantry Corps, and the General Staff Academy. Clones begin their careers as sergeant major (ground forces) or midshipman (navigation school). If their qualifications meet the employment requirements, clones are automatically promoted to a higher rank.

Wage#

Salary is paid daily after 00:00 GMT in one part – an additional bonus.

The bonus amount depends on the clone’s military expertise. The more expertise, the higher the bonus. The minimum amount is 0.0001 gold. The clone receives experience points daily, the amount depending on their position. Details for each position are available on the enterprise page by hovering over them.

Every day, the state transfers 30% of the cost of obtaining a military rank to the Military Department’s bonus fund. The funds go to the corps where the student received their training.

The accumulated fund is distributed:

  • 30% – to the corps’ sergeants/warrant officers, proportional to the knowledge of each clone.
  • 50% – to the teachers of the corps, proportional to the knowledge of each clone.
  • 10% – to the head of the corps.
  • 10% – to the head of the Military Department.

Thus, the head of the Military Department receives 10% of the fund of each corps.

Number of jobs and promotions#

Number of seats:

  • Sergeant major/midshipman – unlimited.
  • Corps teacher – unlimited.
  • Corps Chief – 1.
  • Head of the Military Department – 1.

A sergeant major/midshipman must have a social status no lower than that of a bourgeois in order to move to a teaching position.

To occupy the position of Chief of a Corps or Chief of the Military Department, a clone must:

  • Have a social status equal to or higher than the current occupant of the position.
  • Have your own principality with the level of development of all enterprises equal to or higher than the current official.
  • Have more military knowledge than the current clone in the position.

Transfers from one position to another occur after 00:00 GMT. Positions may become available during the day if the clone resigns or is fired.

Warrant officers and instructors hold their positions until they resign or are dismissed due to lack of stamina or equipment. Corps and War Department commanders may be replaced by more powerful candidates.

The clone can resign at any time of his own free will.
