Sawmill#

Clones – vagabonds (auxiliary workers, receiving experience points for work) – can work at the sawmill, and paid positions are available starting with the status of a craftsman.
To work, the clone requires a working tool:
- Worker’s caftan (for an auxiliary worker).
- Saw (for a woodcutter and foreman).
- Pen and padlock (for a manager).
A clone can only hold one position at a company. Work at the sawmill can be combined with work at other state enterprises (except the Meat Factory).
Handymen are only available to Vagabonds. You can only work as a handyman at one enterprise. When a Vagabond gains status, they lose their work coat and quit. If you’re not the only clone on the account, you can’t buy a coat or become a handyman.
Craftsmen and higher-status clones begin their careers as lumberjacks. If their characteristics meet the requirements for employment at a higher position, the clone is automatically promoted.
While working at a company, a clone expends one unit of stamina per day. When working at multiple state enterprises, this consumption is cumulative. If the clone’s stamina is insufficient, they receive a reprimand instead of their salary. Three reprimands in a row result in dismissal. A clone can resign at any time.
Wage#
The wages of sawmill workers (except for auxiliary workers) are paid daily after 00:00 GMT in two parts:
- Fixed salary + daily company bonus.
- Additional bonus.
Experience points are awarded daily, the amount of which depends on the position. Details for each position are available by hovering over the position name.
Enterprise bonus#
The bonus can be added to the regular salary. The state transfers the following to the sawmill’s bonus fund daily:
- 6% of gold coins from discount from exchanges (commodity / stock / fair).
- 2% gold coins from sales in the weapons shop.
- 4% of gold coins from the commission on sales on the arms exchange.
- 1.25% of the Trade Shop income.
At the due date, the bonus fund is divided equally among all employees (except unskilled workers). Amounts less than 0.0001 gold coin are not awarded.
Additional bonus#
The additional bonus depends on the clone’s forestry expertise. The more expertise, the higher the bonus. If the clone’s expertise is insufficient, no bonus is awarded.
The clone receives knowledge of forestry:
- Exchanging experience, prudence or charisma.
- With the help of magical artifacts.
Every day the state transfers to the sawmill bonus fund:
- 3% commission on sales in the trading guild.
- 2% of income from training the Intent characteristic.
- 2.5% of the Trade Shop’s income.
The prize fund is distributed:
- 40% - to lumberjacks, proportional to the knowledge of each clone.
- 30% – to the foremen, proportional to the knowledge of each clone.
- 30% – to the managers, proportional to the knowledge of each clone.
Number of jobs and promotions#
Number of seats:
- Lumberjack - unlimited.
- 100 lumberjacks → 1 foreman.
- 10 foremen → 1 manager.
Changes in the number of positions and employee transfers occur after 00:00 GMT. Positions may become available during the day if a clone resigns or is laid off.
To be promoted, a clone must:
- Have the required social status (or higher).
- Have more forestry knowledge than the clone from the last place in a higher position.
If the conditions are met, the clone is promoted at the end of the workday, and the previous worker is demoted one step lower. Higher social status does not increase the chance of promotion—only the level of specialized knowledge is taken into account.
