Quarry#

Clones - vagabonds (auxiliary workers, receiving experience points for their work) can work in the quarry, and they can take up paid positions starting with the status of a craftsman.
To work, the clone requires a working tool:
- Worker’s caftan (for an auxiliary worker).
- Hammer and axe (for the stonemason and foreman).
- Pen and padlock (for a manager).
A clone can only hold one position at a company. Work at the quarry can be combined with work at other state-owned enterprises (except the Meat Factory).
The Handyman position is intended only for Tramps. A Tramp can only work as a Handyman at one enterprise. Upon increasing their status, a Tramp loses their Worker’s Caftan and will be dismissed from the Handyman position. If a Tramp is not the only clone on the account, they will not be able to purchase the Caftan and become a Handyman.
Craftsmen and higher-status clones begin their careers at the quarry as stonecutters. If their characteristics meet the requirements for a higher position, the clone will be promoted to it automatically.
While working at the quarry, a clone expends one unit of stamina per day. When working at multiple state enterprises, this consumption is cumulative. If the clone’s stamina is insufficient, they receive a reprimand instead of their salary. Three reprimands in a row result in dismissal. A clone can resign at any time.
Wage#
Salaries for all quarry workers (except auxiliary workers) are paid daily after 00:00 GMT in two parts:
- Fixed salary (depending on position) + daily company bonus.
- Additional bonus.
Experience points are awarded daily, and the amount depends on the position held. Details are available by hovering over the position title.
Enterprise bonus#
The company bonus increases the employee’s permanent salary. The state transfers the following to the quarry’s bonus fund daily:
- 6% of gold coins from discount from exchanges (commodity / stock / fair).
- 2% gold coins from sales in the weapons shop.
- 4% of gold coins from the commission on sales on the arms exchange.
- 1.25% of the Trading Bench’s income.
At the payroll, the bonus fund is divided equally among the company’s employees (except for unskilled workers) and added to the fixed salary. Amounts less than 0.0001 gold coin are not awarded.
At the imported weapons auction, a commission is charged only on gold sales. Resource sales are not included.
Additional bonus#
The bonus amount depends on the clone’s mining knowledge. The more knowledge, the higher the bonus. If the knowledge is insufficient to meet the minimum payout (0.0001 gold), no bonus is awarded.
A clone can gain mining knowledge:
- Exchanging experience, prudence or charisma for specialized knowledge.
- Using magical artifacts from fairy tale characters.
Every day the state transfers to the quarry’s bonus fund:
- 3% commission on sales in the Trade Guild.
- 2% of income from training the Intent characteristic.
- 2.5% of the Trading Shop’s income.
The prize fund is distributed:
- 40% – to stonemasons in proportion to the amount of knowledge.
- 30% – to foremen in proportion to the amount of knowledge.
- 30% – to managers in proportion to the amount of knowledge.
Number of jobs and promotions#
Number of seats in each position:
- Stonemasons - unlimited.
- There is 1 foreman for every 100 stonemasons.
- There is 1 manager for every 10 foremen.
Changes in the number of positions and employee transfers occur at the scheduled time (after 00:00 GMT). Positions may become available during the day due to layoffs.
If there are not enough lower-level employees, the vacancy in the management position is closed, and the employee with the least knowledge of mining is transferred to a lower-level position.
To occupy a higher position, a clone must:
- Have the required social status (or higher).
- Have more mining knowledge than the clone in last place at the higher position.
If the conditions are met, the clone is promoted at the end of the workday, and the previous worker is demoted one step lower. Higher social status does not increase the chance of promotion; only the level of specialized knowledge is taken into account.
